Hi, I’m Pherrise (pronounced as Ferris), the hands and heart behind Nailz_By_Pher!

 

I may be a Georgia transplant now, but fun fact—I was actually born here! Life’s journey took me from Chicago to 27 chilly years in Minnesota (yes, it was way too cold… lol) before circling me back to the South.

By profession, I’m a full-time technology sales account manager with 25+ years of experience. I’ve always had an artistic side, but for a long time, my techy brain took center stage. Eventually, creativity called me back—and that’s when my love for press-on nails blossomed.

​

I’ve been a nail salon regular for years, especially for tip extensions, but rising prices and the practicality of my career pushed me to try something different. Since I can’t exactly work with extra-long nails while managing tech accounts, I decided: Why not design my own? Not only could I create nails that fit my lifestyle, but I could also take better care of my natural nails.

​

What started with a few supplies from Amazon turned into something much bigger. For the past year and a half, I’ve been designing, creating, and selling press-on nails—both online and at local pop-up markets. I love offering frequent sales, one-of-a-kind freestyles, and custom sets tailored to each customer’s unique vibe.

​

But I didn’t stop at nails! I also create my own cuticle oil and intensive hand cream recipes, designed to keep your hands and nails looking (and feeling) spectacular. Because at the end of the day, healthy nails are the best foundation for any design.
